When Navy veteran Chris Spafford founded CAP Concrete Coatings, the goal wasn’t to become the biggest company. It was to give homeowners and businesses a better, longer-lasting solution than traditional epoxy. That commitment still guides every project we complete from our Vancouver, Medford, and Auburn locations.

CAP Concrete Coatings started in 2018 when Navy veteran Chris Spafford decided the Pacific Northwest deserved a better concrete coating option than the epoxy everyone else was installing. Eight years later, that same standard runs through three shops - Vancouver WA, Medford OR, and Auburn WA - and every crew we send to your driveway.

Where We Started
Chris built CAP on the same principles he carried through his Navy service: show up, do the job right, and stand behind your work. That meant partnering with Penntek instead of chasing the cheapest coating on the market, getting the whole team factory-certified instead of learning on customers’ floors, and backing every residential installation with a lifetime warranty most competitors won’t touch.
That approach turned a one-truck operation into a company with three physical locations covering Oregon and Washington – still family-run, still hands-on, still the same guy answering for the work.
